Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions shall apply to all customers / passengers utilizing the Services offered by Zozo Taxi for hiring the taxis:
- The customer shall pay the taxi fare (as displayed in the meter), parking charges, additional night surcharge (where applicable), and any fee or levy presently payable or hereinafter imposed by law or required to be paid for availing of the taxi Services.
- The customer agrees and accepts that the use of the Services provided by Zozo Taxi is at the sole risk of the Customer, and acknowledges that the Company disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- The customer shall ensure not to indulge in the following while traveling in Zozo Taxi:
- Smoking or consuming any kind of intoxicants inside the Taxi.
- Littering in the Taxi.
- Misusing, soiling, or damaging any of the devices (technical/non-technical) in the taxi.
- Asking the chauffeur to break any Traffic/RTO/City Police/government rules.
- Pressurizing the chauffeur to board more than 4 adult passengers in the taxi.
- The customer agrees that the use of Services offered by Zozo Taxi is at their sole risk and Zozo Taxi disclaims all warranties regarding condition, suitability, quality, and fitness for any purpose to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Zozo Taxi makes no representation or warranty that:
- The Services will meet the customer's requirements.
- The Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- Zozo Taxi shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the Customer arising out of the use or inability to use the taxi service for any reason, including technical issues, network failures, or other circumstances beyond Zozo Taxi's control.
- There shall be extra charges for far-off locations and toll charges as well.
- Zozo Taxi will not be liable if a passenger misses a train, flight, or bus due to any delay. Customers must make alternative arrangements as needed.
- The Customer shall indemnify Zozo Taxi from any liabilities, losses, charges, expenses, claims, demands, actions, or proceedings related to the use of Services.
- Zozo Taxi is authorized to use location-based information provided by telecommunications companies to improve service probability and facilitate taxi booking.
- Zozo Taxi may disclose customer details to group companies or government bodies if required by law or for its interests.
- Zozo Taxi reserves the right to terminate any taxi booking at any time without assigning any reason.
- Customers are responsible for their belongings. Zozo Taxi will assist on a "best-effort" basis but is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
- For any lost goods or service complaints, customers must inform Zozo Taxi in writing within 24 hours of using the taxi service.
- Zozo Taxi is not responsible for the conduct of chauffeurs but encourages reporting of complaints regarding chauffeurs.
- Zozo Taxi reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- All calls made to Zozo Taxi's call center are recorded for quality and training purposes.
- All vehicles are continuously tracked using GPS for security reasons.
- Zozo Taxi reserves the right to use customer contact information for its marketing purposes, including sending regular SMS updates.
- Booking cancellations must be made via our mobile app or by calling customer care, and cancellation charges may apply.
The above-mentioned Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between the User(s) and Zozo Taxi regarding the access and use of the website and Services offered by Zozo Taxi, superseding any prior agreements.
